Contact Cindy for administrative support.

We’ve all heard the expression “It takes a village to raise a child.” In that same vein, it also takes others to grow your business. Not only do you need customer or clients, but support and encouragement along the way. We ‘pay it forward’ and in return good comes to us.

Thank you to XC Leaders in Douglasville and Powder Springs for sharing these responses.

The educational topic during September Xperience Connections was:

Share  something  you  do  to  support  others  in  their  business  and  share how  others  have  supported  you  in  the  growth  of  yours.

  • Helping others by being a sounding board, sharing ideas, making connections, meeting one-on-one
  • Learning more about others business by connecting one-on-one.  Asking in-depth questions like what brought them to their particular business
  • Support others’ business, connect them with others, compliment them when given great service
  • Helping people through ideas and brainstorming, understanding do’s and don’ts of their branding, giving support and encouragement
  • Partnering with other small business owners, for example seeking out small brick and mortar stores, boutiques and doing a joint venture to publicize an event
  • By having effective referrals, don’t just share information and business cards with others, but take the extra step to personally connect people
  • Genuine testimonies have been great ways that others have supported the growth of my business as well as the development of personal relationships
  • Connect people at the networking events
  • Introduce others that will benefit their network
  • Go to other’s corporate events to learn more about their businesses
  • When you are wearing something that you bought from a friend, acknowledge them in public and also on social media
  • Like everyone’s business pages and connect with them on LinkedIn

I’m sure there are many other ways to support others in business that aren’t on the list. What are some of the things YOU do? Leave in the comments below.
