We have wonderful news!  After our great time at the 11th Anniversary Celebration with our keynote speaker Dr. Seibel, (www.HealthRock.com )  Bonnie has decided to start an exercise club.  We are calling it the Xperience Connections Xercise Club “XCXC.”

We will have weekly calls on Tuesday’s at 9:30 pm with Doctors, Personal Trainers, Nutritionists and other experts who will give health tips.  The call-in number is 1-559-726-1200 Pin code 617765.  Press #6 to mute and un mute the phone if you want to share.

The group will have a weekly challenge of both exercise and healthy eating.  We will all weigh in at the beginning of the challenge and again in 90 Days, with prizes at the end of the challenge.  The numbers will be kept secret.  Only the total loss will be made public. We will calculate the total weight loss for the group before our 12th Anniversary Celebration in August, 2014.  We will communicate via the Xperience Connections Xercise Club Facebook group.  Feel free to invite any ladies who want to have fun getting in shape with other women and add them to the group.  We will share recipes, exercises and simple tips to improve your health.  Most of the exercises will be done on your own time, but everyone is welcome to join us to exercise together once a week on Monday’s starting at 9:30 am:

Networking Blunders: 1 – 2 – 3

by
September 23, 2013 Business, Personal Growth

When I received a LinkedIn request from Denise Renee Phinn, VP of Marketing & Operations for her husband, Craig Phinn  (www.CraigPhinn.com) regarding a networking seminar, I have to admit I was reluctant to respond.  Why would a female women’s organization promote ‘a guy’ to teach networking when it’s what we do best?              Well,

For the month of August, our education topic was about knowing your competition. As professional business women, it’s important to know how your product/service stacks up against the competition. What makes you more desirable or valuable to the potential customer or client? Consumers are looking for the best value for their dollar in any economy.

Wealth and Happiness

by
July 27, 2013 Personal Growth

After a very invigorating and enlightening Xperience Connections meeting at Bonnie’s house on Monday night, we were all blessed with a complimentary copy of David Geller’s book “Wealth and Happiness.” I was further blessed that night because I was unable to stay asleep. That was a special blessing because I gathered my little dog and

Atlanta’s Real Women: Stories of Hope and Inspiration

When half a dozen friends and I sat around my kitchen table last summer drinking ice tea and talking about how none of us has life even remotely like those on the TV show The Real Housewives of Atlanta, we had no idea what we were about to get into. We laughed that if cameras

SECOND CHANCES HAPPEN

by
July 9, 2013 Inspiration, Life, Personal Growth

LOOK FOR SECOND CHANCES to mushroom in your life; they are there. Last Sunday, I found myself standing amazed while gazing at a variety of unplanned mushrooms growing at the edge of our backyard. My desire for taking pictures and sharing was stout, but I did not act on my promptings. I kept putting it off.

Action = I – Act – On

by
May 6, 2013 Business, Personal Growth

I love playing around with letters in words. I was just thinking back to my earlier Xperiences when I would test myself as to how long it would take to do the JUMBLE that appears in many newspapers! In re-arranging a few letters, for example, Godiva becomes: Go – Diva. And I like to think of Leadership

CANI – Constant And Never Ending Growth

How do you feel about growing personally or professionally? Right above my desk I have a sign that reads:  CANI.  I framed it years ago after a seminar I attended.  I ask myself: “Do we ever stop learning?  Can we possibly grow and expand both personally and professionally without new behaviors?”  I first got introduced to motivational learning
