Here’s to the women of the Smyrna, Powder Springs, Acworth and Marietta Xperience Connections! Together they have amazing accomplishments and many successes. Our topic for May was on defining success. You will see several subjects mentioned many times – family, yourself and giving back. As you look over the list, think about YOUR definition of success and share in the comments below.

Please share how you define success. What is an achievement of  which you are most proud?

  • Feeling at peace within. Success is doing what I set out to accomplish.
  • Being honest with short comings, addressing them and moving forward.
  • Being a great influence to one’s grandchildren.
  • Success is being comfortable doing what you do and proud of what you offer.
  • Being comfortable with one’s self
  • A big accomplishment: BALANCE between personal and professional life.
  • Carrying out one’s life purpose.
  • Greatest achievement – relationship with my husband/partner whom I adore.
  • Giving back to others brings the most joy.
  • Ability to adapt to change and circumstances by always moving forward.
  • Success is measured by how many lives you touch.
  • Having harmony at home is a success.
  • Having balance between home and business.
  • Being present where you are.
  • Having a great spiritual relationship.
  • Success is accepting yourself for who you are.
  • Spending time with others without the phone, social media, etc.
  • Being present with whoever you are with.
  • Living your life and being mindful that it can be over in a second.

  • Keeping away from negative people.
  • A happy 47-year marriage with two grown kids.
  • Escaping to America with family from Persia with only $1,000 and now having a successful marriage and family.
  • Opening my own insurance agency.
  • Organizing a family bike trip 22 years ago. We have done it every year since – up to 125 people now.
  • Going to bed happy with what you did today to help others.
  • Giving back to others with education. Change lives by empowering others.
  • Knowing we are all in business for ourselves.
  • Making a difference in the lives of others.
  • Success is measured by the lives touched not by the amount in your bank account.
  • Success is having happy families.
  • Sharing English to others who can’t speak English.
