Teresa is a native Georgia peach happily married to Chris Clayton. Although they have a large family including a precious granddaughter, they are now almost empty nesters except for two spoiled dogs, Toby and Howie.
Teresa loves the outdoors, especially the mountains. She and Chris enjoy hiking, kayaking, spending time with family, and hanging out together. They desire to visit many of the natural beauties all across the country with a goal to have ice cream in every state. Yes, there is a story behind that.
After studying business in college, Teresa went to work for a Fortune 500 company. After about 6 years, it became unfulfilling, and she realized it also was not conducive to the lifestyle of starting the family she wanted. That realization sent her back to school to become a teacher. Teaching, training, and mentoring are her love and true calling. Over the years, Teresa has played an intricate role in countless lives of children. However, the greatest honor and privilege of her life came through home-schooling. Her family went far beyond what brick and mortar schools offer not only in academics, but in the arts, and personal development too. Through this experience, Teresa caught the bug for entrepreneurialism – where if you can dream it, you can achieve it. Now that she is back in the business world, she still views herself as a teacher and trainer. She now teaches small businesses, entrepreneurs, sales professionals, and philanthropists how to build customer retention and referral generation. This is done by implementing the philosophy and systems of her company. Teresa is thrilled to be a part of a company whose motto is to create a revolution of kindness. She is often heard saying “Everything you ever really needed to know you learned in kindergarten.”
