Today’s celebration was an enormous success. Professional business women from around the country were vivaciously celebrating this sold-out event at Maggiano’s Restaurant with their beloved CEO/Founder, BONNIE ROSS-PARKER and partner COO, PHIL PARKER.

They had three impressive sponsors: Bank of America, Shamonda Gilbert, Alliance Insurance , Bobbie Kern, and Phenomenal Events , Natasha Bolden along with 26 professional vendors offering high-quality products and services.  The Keynote Speaker was amazing; Dr. Mache Seibel. Dr. Seibel is also the founder of HEALTHROCK™, a health education brand that uses music and entertainment to teach health literacy. He is an expert on Women’s Health and was selected as the recipient of the 2013 NAMS Media Award.

As I was glancing around the room at the elegant tables and fabulous décor provided by Phenomenal Event, I noticed a variety of gifts; colorful folders filled with helpful information and a roster for future connections; I knew a lot of thoughtful planning went into this event. “Nothing but the best for my XC Leaders,” says Bonnie as she hugged my neck. XC Leaders represent their own businesses, they have demonstrated leadership ability, and they enjoy helping other women become successful! Their investment into our sisterhood is immeasurable. Every month, they dedicate themselves to holding events where products and services are showcased in an intimate setting.  Their devotion to the small business owners and entreprenuers of America are instrumental to maintaining this countrie’s great economy.  And deeper connections are always made during the meal. I appreciate them so much.”

I could see tears swelling in Bonnie’s eyes so I asked her what she was feeling. “I still can’t believe it’s 11 years that JOC/XC has been the catalyst to so many wonderful friendships and the fostering of so many businesses. Their support and impact have played a major role in our development. As you know, XC is built on a female model. It is a beautiful tapestry of connection, communication, consideration, cooperation, concentration, collaboration, and community. I’m just so grateful for ALL of them.”

Are you at liberty to share one of next year’s goals, I asked? “Well, since we are positioned to encourage and facilitate the growth, performance and integrity of professional women, I’m extending invitations into Europe. Our goal for 2014 will most likely start with London.” Would you mind if I print that? “No, I’m delighted. And special thanks goes out to Jennifer Riis-Poulsen for stepping out in faith to pioneer her new business POWER HOUSE SELF-DEFENSE and to those who were unable to attend, we missed you.”

Special acknowledgement to David Geller, GV Financial Advisors for gifting all participants with his latest book: Wealth & Happiness. You can purchase his life changing book on AMAZON.

    Bonnie, what an amazing day.

Many theorists believe that group cohesion results from a deep sense of “we-ness,” or belonging to a group as a whole. By becoming enthusiastically involved in the efforts of the group and by recognizing the similarities that exist among group members, more cohesion is formed. Furthermore, group pride creates a sense of community that strengthens the bonds of unity that link group members to one another.

Thank you for creating a deep sense of “we-ness” through your love, devotion, and divine dedication.

Janice is spot on with her observation about this group. Not only did I enjoy the we-ness and not only did I learn a lot from the guest speaker, I had a blast. It was so much fun. Thank you Bonnie, for all that you do for all of us.

Hi Linda, thank you for being enthusiastically involved and showing appreciation. The event was a blast and I’m still buzzing from the excitement. I started reading your book, ATLANTA’S REAL WOMEN, and before I finished the second story I had to stop reading; too emotional. I was at my GYN’s office and the nurse was giving me funny looks. I’m so grateful for all the GRACIOUS gifts from so many. Thank you for blessings us with such amazing stories. Do write another one.
