“Yesterday I had an amazing time networking and connecting with sooo many people over the course of this 6 hour event,” says Shawn Manaher.
Highlights:
Be ready for these long events by making sure you take in lots of water, stay caffeinated, eat and take breaks when needed.
My engagement with Bonnie Ross-Parker was a huge highlight for me! You all have to watch the video to hear about my interaction with Bonnie Ross-Parker. Hilarious!!! She did an amazing job teaching us what you need to do before you network; she really cares about professional people and how they network. Here are some ideas:
– Personalized name badge
– Professional business cards
– Follow-up Plan
– Signature thing that makes you you – Dress properly
From the event as a whole I learned a great deal about making sure to tell your business story in a variety of ways to not only keep people interested, but keep yourself interested in the event too.
I took away from the event some great learnings and about 10 opportunities for me to then follow up with folks 1 on 1… And oh, some of those 1 on 1s, they really want to hear about my business too. This works folks! Really does! Here’s to your networking… #networkingatlanta #networkingtips #atlantanetworking
Having established strong alliances with The National Networking Company, The Women’s Information Network and The Direct Selling Women’s Alliance, Bonnie is leading the way for massive expansion where women are valued, appreciated and supported in whatever is the business endeavor of their choosing.
