Director of University Seeking Alumni Talent
BONNIE ROSS-PARKER graduated from George Washington University in June, 1966. 47 years later,
Omar Bell, Associate DD of GW, talking over lunch with Bonnie about 2 projects. He’s seeking alumni talent for “Entrepreneurship” and “Women in Leadership.”
OMAR Bell, Associate Director of Development, got in touch with Bonnie as a GW alumni, to discuss potential involvement in two projects – The school’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Women in Leadership. I had the pleasure of meeting with Bonnie recently in Atlanta, says Omar. Working for George Washington University gives me the chance to meet with so many different alumni and connect to an incredible network of professionals! Listening to Bonnie talk about the great work that she does through Xperience Connections has inspired me to make sure George Washington University continues to help our female alumni succeed in whatever venture they attempt. He’s seeking alumni talent and has sought her out! Not bad after all this time! Life is a journey. Each of our lives is a reflection of the experiences we have, the people we meet, the thoughts we consider and the feelings we embrace, says Bonnie. It would be and honor to work along side Omar. Life is meant to be shared. No one chooses to travel life alone. It’s those opportunities we say “Yes” to, the people we meet or invite along the way, and the “ah ha” moments that awaken us to a new way of looking at something familiar. Our journeys continue day to day, as one experience follows another. The journey embraces people who impact us, circumstances and changes we can’t control, the choices and decisions we make and the effect of those actions over time.
Bonnie is recognized as a multi-dimensional businesswoman/entrepreneur with a background in education, franchise development, publishing, mentorship, network marketing, and community development. She combines vision with a unique set of skills. Bonnie is a professional speaker/author and formerly the Associate Publisher of The Gazette Newspaper/Atlanta. She focuses her energies on supporting women. Bonnie is a graduate of George Washington University, and earned a Certification in Network Marketing at the University of Illinois in Chicago. Several of her articles on owning one’s own business and entrepreneurship have appeared in publications including: Wealth Building, Home Business Magazine, Business to Business and Entrepreneur’s Business Start-Ups. She is the perfect candidate for this project. An extraordinary person with a story to tell. She connects. She collaborates. She gives back.
