Education Topic For November
We are closing the calendar on 2014 and looking ahead to 2015. This time of year is a time for reflection and looking at past successes. Did you achieve your goals for your business? Did you carve out some ‘me time’ out of your hectic life? What excited you about this past year either personally or professionally?
Xperience Connections asked our attendees of the Smyrna, Powder Springs, Woodstock and Buckhead/Virginia Highlands locations the following question: Please share a 2014 business accomplishment for which are most proud. What did it take to get there?
We have amazing women that are part of Xperience Connections who inspire us. Here are their responses:
- I’ve been in business for eight years and had never networked before. I am an introvert and it was hard for me to step out of my comfort zone. Now I go to a lot of networking events. I did it because I wanted to transition my business.
- Passed my certification the first time. I’m an introvert too and I’m putting myself out there.
- I let go of people that I was trying to pull along. It felt freeing for me to stop carrying people who don’t want it.
- Doubled my income by investing in business branding and a marketing coach. It was a huge investment and a calibrated risk but it paid off.
- Strategic positioning to move closer to home. Less stressful and more time with family.
- Co-founder of WEROCK. We had 85 conference attendees with seven from out of state. It took persistence and putting together a team, but it has paid off in growth.
- I was afraid of public speaking. I started speaking at my local library and people stayed until the end of my presentation! I am introverted as well but I stepped out of my box.
- Educated and empowered three generations of a family in health and wellness.
- I was elected as National Association of Property Managers by my peers consisting of people I respect for their knowledge of the industry.
- Rebranded new business. My goal was three new clients but I actually exceeded that and now have seven.
- Paid for speaking at a University.
- WeRock sold out. Planning 4th mother-daughter retreat in April.
- New product line launched.
- Started a new consulting business.
- Promoted to a new level in my company.
- Growing in business by learning from mentors.
- Growing an international business.
- Using social media more.
- Just started a new business Curvy Body Fitness.
- Merged two businesses.
- Expanded my group Sisters United to other areas.
- Learning how to ask for help.
- Sharpening my skills.
- Taking charge.
- Believing in self.
- Achieving my dream of becoming a writer.
- Making good choices.
- Taking the business out of the home and putting it in a showroom.
